Just wrapping this project up in Abington. Miles of PVC trim replaced on all windows, doors, facial boards, soffits, rake, boards, freeze boards, as well as all miscellaneous trim
New, James Hardy cement board siding on entire home with 5 inch exposure. Replaced all storm doors, replaced a few windows and one rear patio door.
This was a pretty large project and it was very time-consuming because it was a trilevel home. Meaning there were no large walls that we could gain any speed on the house was pretty cut up.

Big news at Cycle Carpentry!
We’ve been keeping this one under wraps for a few weeks, making sure everything settled in — and let’s just say, Joel McInnis has hit the ground running! His results are already speaking for themselves.
Joel brings decades of experience as a licensed construction supervisor and truly knows the trades inside and out. He’s a huge asset to our growing team and will be joining myself and Matt on the sales side!
We’re incredibly grateful to have him on board and are looking at the upcoming year in a whole new light. I really believe people are going to start to see Cycle Carpentry position itself right at the top of the roofing and siding industry in our local area.
Keep those referrals coming — we’ve got a hungry team ready to lead, sign jobs, and keep delivering incredible results. 💪🔨

Really nice transformation on our Holbrook project. New lifetime architectural shingles, two ply rolled roofing system, all new PVC trim, new CDX plywood overlay and some soffit ventilation.
I used to hang out in this house about 25 years ago, it was nice to be part of bringing the life back to this house and making it look good again.
Residence of Holbrook sure know who to call when they need a new roof. We have done HUNDREDS of roofs in Holbrook alone! 🙏
Braintree project making progress. Soffit overhangs being built today along with the roof being installed.
Minor setback on the siding aspect of things as we discovered, asbestos buried under the vinyl siding. When pricing out the job, the areas we looked behind the vinyl, you could not see any of the asbestos because it had broken off and fallen down the wall, so it only appeared to be vinyl siding with wooden shakes behind it.
Unfortunately, there is three layers of siding on the home and one of them is asbestos. We quickly discovered the issue made the appropriate phone calls and have an abatement team coming on Tuesday of next week to get everything remediated so we can continue forward.
Minor setbacks, but when dealing with the correct contractor, you have peace of mind, knowing things will be remedied quickly and safe safely !

Weymouth James Hardie siding and trim job progress update
We removed the decking from the front porch with plans just to install new composite decking and railings. Come to find out there was no rubber roofing under the deck, but just an ice and water over the sheathing which caused severe water damage and rot.
So we removed all the rot , have to install new three-quarter exterior plywood and a new rubber roof
while dismantling everything, we noticed that the 4 x 4 post that are supporting the second floor cantaliever we’re bowed out by more than 2 inches in the middle. Which led us to do some digging and discovered the cantilever is framed every 3 to 4 feet and that there is no header in place support supporting the weight.
The existing trim that looked to be wrapping in existing header was actually hollow and only for looks
So we now have to install some temporary walls under the porch and in the basement to carry the weight while we build a new header and install new 4 x 6 supporting post. Along with framing the existing ceiling 16 on center with all appropriate hangers
Much more work than anticipated, you never know what you’re going to uncover
pictures don’t show the extent of this damage and improper framing
