🚨 Important Update for Homeowners Considering a New Roof 🚨
Starting June 1st, we are being hit with another 10% increase on roofing materials — this comes just one month after the last 10% increase. On top of that, we received emails this morning that dumpster prices are increasing as well.
The reality is, these costs are completely out of our hands. We’re seeing conditions similar to the COVID years, when material prices seemed to rise one after another with no warning. And as many people remember, those prices never truly came back down.
Businesses out there surviving by giving bottom-dollar prices and cutting corners are going to have a hard time keeping up. Eventually, everyone will be forced to adjust pricing to keep operating properly.
At Cycle Carpentry Corporation, we remain committed to delivering the best workmanship, best service, and fairest pricing possible. We never want to raise prices, but slight adjustments will be necessary as supplier costs continue climbing.
If you know your roof is nearing the end of its life, now may be the smartest time to get on the schedule. Because one thing history has shown us — prices may rise, but they rarely come back down.
The roof price today could look very different next year… and five years from now, even more so.

New roof in Holbrook today! One of our favorite towns that gives us endless amounts of roof roofing work. We have Roof a couple hundred roofs in Holbrook alone.
This job consist of CertainTeed burnt sienna, replacing some rotted trim, venting the soffits, re-pointing the chimney along with a new crown and stainless steel cap
Too many homeowners think they’re hiring a “contractor” when in reality they’re hiring one person with a builder’s license (hopefully in their name), a plain white van and a crew with no clear accountability.
There’s a big difference between hiring a person… and hiring a real established company.
When you hire Cycle Carpentry, you’re hiring a professional operation built on trust, reputation, and systems that protect the homeowner.
✔️ Fully established company
✔️ Fleet of clean, lettered, professionally outfitted vehicles
✔️ Recognizable local brand in the community
✔️ Organized crews and project management
✔️ Proper communication from start to finish
✔️ Accountability long after the job is complete
Anyone can show up and say they’re a contractor. Not everyone has built a real company behind the name.
Your home is one of your biggest investments. Hire a company that looks, acts, and performs like one.
Cycle Carpentry — Built Different
We truly feel blessed and humbled by the incredible growth we’ve experienced. Looking back to this same point last year, the progress has been nothing short of extraordinary. As of April, we are already seeing a 2.5x increase in revenue compared to where we were at this time last year.
With 2 more lettered trucks on the road since this picture just 2 months, our brand is being recognized every day throughout the local communities we proudly serve. Seeing our name grow and become trusted in so many neighborhoods means everything to us.
None of this happens without the continued support from our customers, friends, family, and community. We are beyond grateful for every referral, every like, every share, and every opportunity to earn your business.
We never take your support for granted, and we remain committed to working hard every single day to continue earning your trust.
Thank you for believing in us. The best is still ahead.
Just when I thought I’ve seen it all! This is the roof on the siding project. We are doing today in Hanover.
Home told me the roof was about 10 years old guys went up on it to install brackets for our pump staging and this is what they uncovered.
They only installed cap shingles on the seams of where the ridge vents meet 🫣🤯
Bridgewater siding completed ✅✅✅
This job was started Monday and completed Wednesday 🤗
Our siding team has our siding installs dialed in perfectly and adding the new siding van has made things so much smoother!
Because we are able to do these vinyl siding jobs so quickly and efficiently right now, I have made the decision to lower our price per square by $100 each.
Now is the perfect time to get on our schedule!

Guys did an incredible job on this house today
28 square charcoal black
Repaired some rotted decking and installed new plywood overlay to one really bad side of roof
All new pvc Rake boards
7 new skylights
Replaced all fascia boards
Monday guys just have to install vented soffits and wrap fascia boards
2 layers of existing siding stripped and covered with a new ENVS house wrap
Will have to pad out some of the walls with some insulation board to get an even plain as whoever installed windows previously framed the walls flush with the original layer of siding and not to the original sheathing. Rookie move but we’ll make everything look right ✅
One of my biggest pet peeves in roofing…
Installing synthetic underlayment upside down.
It might seem like a small mistake but the truth is, the quality of a job is always found in the smallest details.
If a contractor can overlook something this simple, what else are they overlooking when it really matters?
Your roof isn’t just shingles, it’s a full system. Every layer plays a role in protecting your home.
At Cycle Carpentry, we take pride in doing things the right way, every time. No shortcuts. No missed details. Just solid, reliable work you can count on.
🔥 REAL RESULTS. REAL PERFORMANCE. 🔥
Had a homeowner reach out after their final Mass Save evaluation… and this is why we take so much pride in what we do.
Before our work, their home tested at under 20% efficiency.
After a full siding + house wrap system done by our team?
👉 Improvement of 70–75% in air tightness.
The Mass Save rep even said it was the biggest improvement he’s seen in over 2 years of doing these tests — and he ran it 3 times just to be sure.
Let that sink in.
Brockton exterior trim job really looking good!
New side entrance coming along nicely, I didn’t realize how hard it was going to be to make those railing kits work with the stairs not your typical size.
The stair kits are made for your typical 10 inch run where these were 15 inches made things very difficult getting the stair brackets to work but we got it to an acceptable point and looks pretty good✅
Few more days left on this project and we are complete

Today we’re out on a job that means a lot more than just roofing.
We’re doing a charity roof for a local family whose daughter, Maggie, has been through more in her young life than most of us could ever imagine. Despite facing seizures, a stroke at a young age, and ongoing medical challenges, she continues to fight every single day.
Her family is working hard to raise funds to build an addition to their home—something that will make her life safer, easier, and more accessible as she gets older.
We’re honored to step in and take care of the roofing portion to help move things forward.
Sometimes it’s bigger than business. It’s about showing up for people when they need it most.
If anyone is in a position to help or support this family, it would go a long way.

“Fun South Shore Roofing Fact: Spring is officially ‘roof replacement season’ in Massachusetts! 🌸🏠
Why? The milder weather (no more brutal freezes or heavy snow loads) means crews can work safely and efficiently, asphalt shingles seal better with the warming sun, and there’s way less chance of weather delays compared to winter or humid summer. Many locals schedule new roofs now so they’re all set before those classic New England summer storms roll in.
Bonus: After our tough winter, spring is prime time for a quick inspection—catch any loose shingles, granule loss, or minor damage early before the heavy April showers test your roof!
Who’s thinking about a roof refresh this spring? Comment with a 🌷 if you’re ready for sunnier days ahead, or share your biggest roofing pet peeve below!

What a week it’s been, 3 repeat customers coming back to us!
There’s nothing better than earning someone’s trust not just once, but twice. Our favorite type of customer is the one who sees the quality behind our work, understands the value we bring, and feels confident enough to call us again. That kind of trust means everything to us.
We appreciate every single one of our clients, but there’s something extra special about those who come back. Thank you for continuing to choose us, we don’t take it for granted.
East Bridgewater roof from today
Ended up having to overlay 45 new sheets of 1/2 inch plywood and removed 6 sheets of plywood on the rear of garage and replaced with new 3/4 plywood to remove the existing hump in the roof.
Guys got most of the shingling done as well as glued half the new rubber roof.
Will finish this one up tomorrow with a few guys while we start the next job.
ROOFING DONE RIGHT
While most roofing companies would install a ridge vent on this home, it is not the correct thing to do. Home has gable vents and no air intake on any of the fascia’s or soffits so a ridge vent would create more problems than good.
Most people don’t realize a ridge vent with gable vents oppose each other, and you cannot have both systems.
Hire someone who understands what your home needs!
CYCLE CARPENTRY 781-308-0377
Cycle Carpentry has doubled in size since 2 years ago, with that comes fresh new gear for all the workers.
We used to order the heat presses online and it would take over a week and the colors were dull.
Been giving our business to a new local company in East Bridgewater and the colors are so much more vibrant. The guys will be looking extra good with this new apparel 💪🙏
